Q: When + What is Macaron Saturday?

A: Macaron Saturday is when we serve Macarons in the bakery! Two slightly crunchy, chewy and soft meringue cookies held together by a creamy French Buttercream.

Once per month, on the 1st Saturday of the month, we have two flavors of macarons and our goal is to sell out. We have had many different flavor combinations like Lemon + Raspberry, Peanut Butter + Jelly, Peppermint Hot Chocolate with a dollop of marshmallow fluff and so many more.

Q: How long have you been a shop in Boise?

A: We opened in 2011 with a main focus on small-batch, glass bottled soda and tasty snacks. Shortly after opening The Soda Works, a space became available next to us and we opened Bee Wise Goods in late November 2011. After being open for a couple of years, we transitioned to focus on local + handmade artists with a little bit of everything. We liked to call ourselves a Modern Mercantile ;).

In October 2013, Just Baked Boise was born! We renovated half of our shop for the kitchen and after a brief name change to Boise's Bakery, we have been in our little spot for about 6 years.

Q: What's your favorite treat to bake?

A: Right now I love to bake cookies. They're fast, scrumptious, chewy or soft, and you can eat them when they're still warm! Because let's be honest, that's the best part ;). Our favorites tend to change all the time, but I love to bake new recipes.

Q: If I'm an artist/maker, can I get my art/craft into your store?

A: We like to keep our inventory as full as we can! You can send us emails with specific questions, a little about yourself, photos of what it is that you make and we'll be happy to get back to you with more details. Please Note: We only buy from wholesale linesheets. If you are just starting out, contact us once you are ready to sell wholesale.

Email: beewisebags@me.com

Q: Does the bakery take special orders?

A: We do! You can check out our regular goodies here: Menu

Can't find what you're looking for on our menu? We can almost make anything in almost any flavor. Once you have an idea of what you want to order, email us! We'll reply with as many details as possible and we'll do our best to answer your questions. Contact is Key! So make sure you have at least 2 weeks in advance from your event/celebration to get a spot on our calendar. Please note: we no longer make cakes, check Flourchild on Overland rd, hers are amazing!

Q: Do you have Gift Cards for your shop?

A: Yes! Come into the shop at 3017 W. State Street Boise, ID 83703, and we'll whip one up for you! *$5 minimum.

Q: Which is the best selling bakery item?

A: Two words: Sugar... Cookie.

Our sugar cookie, also known as Sweet Dottie is my Great, Great, Aunt's sour cream cookie recipe with a sweet almond, American buttercream. We serve it everyday that we're open (unless otherwise stated).

We gave it a bit of an update, and now have a vegan friendly option!
