Back-to-School Crafts

The ending of August can only mean one thing...it’s back to school season! Time to say goodbye to the long, carefree days of summer and hello to schedules & lesson plans. But even with school back in session, you can still spend quality time with your kiddos creating unique and fun craft projects that will spark their imagination and enrich their classroom experience. Look for a few ideas? Take a look at some of favorites below.

How handy is this roll up pencil case from Innova Crafts?? With a simple supply list, and zero sewing required, you can whip up one of these in no time. We especially love the ribbon & button closure...super cute, but still easy enough for little hands to open.

While you’re at it, why not create some fun toppers for those pencils? These adorable versions, courtesy of Lia Griffith, come together quickly with a little felt, glue, and a simple blanket stitch.

And last but not least, spark their love for reading with a special DIY bookmark! These laced ones from Handmade Charlotte are created with fiber board (from old cereal and cracker boxes) and a little bit of bright embroidery thread. These bookmarks are so clever, even the adults might be tempted to make one, too.

Happy crafting!
